ABOUT ME

I developed Combat Kingdom as a personal project during my Bachelor's studies at Full Sail University, using Unreal Engine 4.27. The game features fast, responsive combat mechanics with precise hit reactions for both players and AI characters. I crafted dynamic combat animations and complex moves, including mid-air combat, character swapping, and finisher moves, all enhanced with stunning UI visual effects. After the launch of UE5.3, I retargeted UE4 skeleton meshes to my 3D character models using the IK retargeting system in UE5.3.

I designed the combat mechanics to offer fast-paced, engaging fights. Players use a range of strikes and combos, with mid-air launches for dynamic aerial attacks. The game features strong visual effects to enhance each move, all within a compact arena for a thrilling and immersive experience. Players can also switch between characters in-game.

Character Swap

The AI can dodge player attacks with parkour movements, displaying fast reflexes and strong self-awareness. If the player isn't sneaky, the AI will detect them.

Upon death, the AI can respawn a set number of times, determined by the lifespan I assign to it.
