ABOUT ME

WarCry is one of my proudest single-player projects, built from the ground up. It features advanced AI enemies and zombies that use any weapons they find, creating dynamic combat situations. I used ALS (Advanced Locomotion System) using Unreal Engine 5 to implement smooth, realistic character movement. The game focuses on exploration, survival, and intense combat.

AI Mechanics

Zombie AI

The Zombie AI chases you without weapons and tries to capture and eat you.

Human AI Vs Zombies

If Human AI and zombies cross paths, they will engage in combat and attempt to kill each other.

AI Combat Skills

The AI can sneak up on the player for stealth attacks and use mixed martial arts in close proximity if out of ammo or unable to find a weapon.

Human AI Behavior Tree

The Human AI can take cover, flank, and use various weapons to engage the player. They communicate with other AI to coordinate attacks and adapt their tactics based on the player’s behavior.

Gameplay & Weapon Mechanics

Stealth Takedown

The player can sneak behind the AI and perform a takedown if the AI has its back turned.

Explosive Barrels

Explosive Barrels in the game explode when shot or damaged, causing a significant blast radius that can harm both enemies and the player.

Mini Map

The mini-map can be accessed by interacting with a button and can be hidden by the same action.

Rope Swing Mechanic

The rope can be equipped via quick actions, hooked to a pole, and used for swinging from one end to the other.

Physics-Based Crafted Arrow

This arrow is designed using realistic physics, allowing its trajectory to be influenced by factors such as gravity and air resistance while firing.

Cross Hair

Players can choose from one of four customizable crosshair options to equip, allowing them to select the style that best suits their preferences and play style.

Assault Rifle

Each weapon has unique recoil characteristics, and players can adjust and control the recoil during the crafting process.

Sniper Rifle

The sniper rifle lens can be adjusted, zoomed in and out, and customized through crafting.

Headshot Damage

Deals increased damage to enemies when the player targets and hits their head.

Bodyshots Damage

Deals standard damage compared to Headshots.

Parkour Movements

I’ve integrated ALS (Advanced Locomotion System) to enable parkour movements like climbing, wall running, vaulting, and sliding, providing a smooth and dynamic navigation experience.

Weapons Swap

Players can quickly switch between equipped weapons using a streamlined, intuitive system.
